Description

A probing system consists of the following attached to CNC machining center: Work Piece Touch Probe: Work piece measurement/referencing Tool Setting Probe: Tool setting, length, radius, breakage detection Software: Creates measurement program for probes on standard geometries and free-form surfaces, generates QC alerts and reports Implementation: Equipment configuration, training Grant support: 80% of cost of probing system, up to $30,000 grant cap

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria at the point of application:

a) must be registered in Singapore
b) purchase/lease of the IT solution or equipment or consultancy service must be used in Singapore
c) must not have:

  • Made any payment to a supplier, vendor or third party in relation to the purchase/lease of the IT solution or equipment or consultancy service
  • Signed any contract with a supplier, vendor or third party in relation to the purchase/lease of the IT solution or equipment or consultancy service

Things to Note

Equipment must meet the following specifications:

  1. Work Piece & Tool Setting Probe:
    • Approach Directions: +/-x, +/-y, -z
    • Repeatability: <=1um 2sigma

  2. Software: Program probe measurement pathway, provide reports, generate QC issue alerts

  3. Implementation: Probe and software configuration and training

Additional criteria: Minimum 30% ordinary shares (ultimate individual ownership) held directly/indirectly by Singaporean/PR
